ACT Disability Service Providers: Are you Ready for the NDIS?
At the end of this year, the ACT government will withdraw from early intervention programs in Canberra, due to the introduction of the National Disability Insurance Scheme in the territory. This means disability service providers registered to provide supports in the ACT must prepare for competitive environment characterised by self-directed approaches, and individualised funding. The NDIA requires case plans are prepared for participants.
These plans will allocate funding to multiple agencies to deliver services to these participants. Each organisation delivering against the plan may be required to keep outcomes information for each participant which may be audited at sometime in the future. Hence having these four key elements to your CRM data management software system is essential to manage future involvement within the NDIA:
- Quantitative service information capture including pricing at the unit level
- Outcomes data capture of qualitative information for each client
- Case management information and notes for all services delivered for agency risk management and appropriate tracking of client progress.
- Bulk data export capability to the NDIS Online Provider Portal. The Community Data Solutions’ NDIS CRM meets all these elements, and more.
